Advertising options

ELAA’s weekly news bulletin ‘ELAAvate’ is a highly effective way to advertise to early childhood services. It goes to around 5500 early childhood education sector contacts including ELAA member kindergarten and long day care services, academics, sector consultants, educators and Early Years Managers. It’s published during Victorian School terms and our recipients are mostly Victorian based.

  • 10% off for an ‘annual booking’ i.e. at least one item per month for 12 months.

Sponsored articles*

  • Max 250 words. Includes company logo, feature image and links to your online content. All text, logo and image supplied by client
  • Logo should be hi resolution jpeg or PNG
  • Image should be landscape orientation, at least 2MB in file size and jpeg or PNG. Please supply logo and/or image as attachments (not embedded in a doc or email please).
  • Supply text in MS Word
  • Note: sponsored articles will be published in full on the News section of the ELAA website https://elaa.org.au/news/ and will be linked to the edition of ‘ELAAvate’ that you have booked i.e. ‘ELAAvate’ will only feature your  article heading which links to the full article in the News section of the ELAA website.

Banner advertising on ELAA website*

Advertise to early childhood services by promoting your products and services on three of our website’s high traffic pages :

  • The Log In page is where just under 1250 ELAA member users go to log in to our member only ELAA resources. Google analytics reports around 3100 page views for this page per month.
  • The My Membership page is where ELAA members access member only content menu for things like wages calculators, free job listings, policy/template updates etc. Google analytics reports around 5500 page views per month for this page.
  • The ELAA home page receives around 7000 page views per month and your banner ad is positioned in a prominent location near the top of the page. *New offering*
  • The spaces can be booked for one week at a time and link to your nominated web page.
  • Only one advertiser features in these designated spaces at any one time.

ELAA’s Facebook page has around 13,500 followers – mostly independent Early Childhood Education and Care providers, Early Years Manager Organisations, Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) service managers, directors, educators and allied professionals like Maternal Health Care nurses, ECEC sector researchers, consultants and policy makers. Reach out to these engaged audiences with sponsored posts on our Facebook page.

ELAA’s Industrial Relations Bulletin is published 4 times a year (each school term) for ELAA members and provides specialist advice on key industrial relations issues affecting the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector. It is read by early years service directors, HR managers, payroll managers, parent committees of management, and Early Years Management organisations.

ELAA’s Wages Bulletin is published in April, July, October each year and is read by Early Childhood Education and Care sector bookkeepers, administrators, and early years Service Directors.

Approval process: ELAA assesses all applications to advertise  or sponsor to ensure the proposed advertising or sponsorship does not conflict with existing ELAA services, resources, advocacy, commercial commitments, values and other criteria. No advertisements for products that would be harmful to families, children and their environments will be accepted.  Early Learning Association Australia will not accept advertisements which contain inappropriate content. ELAA reserves the right to refuse any advertising request that does not meet its assessment criteria.

Working with children checks: any advertiser providing products or services that require direct engagement with children (whether on site at an early childhood service and / or online) must confirm that their representatives engaging with children hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWC). In the case of sole traders this will involve the provision of their WWC card number via the ELAA advertising booking form. Advertisers with multiple agents will be asked to complete a declaration on the booking form.

Compliance with service provider conditions of engagement: all advertisers must agree to abide by any conditions of engagement requested by individual early learning service providers when dealing directly with the provider. Failure to do so will result in the cessation of any further advertising with ELAA.

Implied endorsement by ELAA: all advertising / sponsorship arrangements are commercial in nature and do not imply and may not be interpreted as endorsement by ELAA. The publishing of sponsored content by ELAA does not imply and may not be interpreted that ELAA holds the views advertised in its publications. Claims made in advertisements are the responsibility of the advertiser.

Acknowledgement of sponsorship: all advertising content (including ‘advertorial’ pieces) will be identified as ‘Sponsored Promotion’ in ELAA communications.

Quality : Advertised products/services must meet Australian standards (where applicable).
