Pedagogical quality is a highly contested area with lots of different ideas about what is quality and how do the ideas trickle down into practice. And here is where the lovely challenge begins. Parents hold tightly a definition, educators hold tightly a definition, management hold tightly a definition, and regulatory agencies hold tightly a definition. So how do we begin to fuss, weave and bring together divergent ideas? More importantly, how do we defend those ideas which are close to our heart whilst bringing others along on this journey?
