Yongala Preschool is a well-resourced, community-run preschool in Balwyn, offering a warm, inclusive and family-centred environment. Our spacious, light-filled indoor spaces and natural, well-shaded outdoor play areas provide children with inspiring opportunities to learn through play. We offer sessional three-year-old and four-year-old preschool programs, guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Our dedicated and highly skilled team is committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that support every child’s development, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Child safety is central to everything we do, with robust policies and procedures and a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and respected. An exciting ongoing opportunity is available for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our three-year-old program in 2027, initially to cover parental leave, with the possibility of extension beyond 1.5 years.
