Position Details
Yarra Glen Pre School is a committee managed sessional kindergarten dedicated to providing a safe, healthy and welcoming learning environment for all children, families and early childhood professionals. We provide 15 hours of 3YO and 15 hours of 4YO plus rotational Pre-Prep kindergarten programs. Our beautiful kindergarten features an open plan learning space filled with natural light and a large, natural outdoor learning space for creative and adventurous play. At Yarra Glen Pre School, we understand the vital contribution of play to early childhood development and the importance of child centered learning. We believe that children learn through hands-on experiences, allowing them to wonder, investigate and build on their own knowledge, whilst being challenged by a supportive and intentional learning program. We believe that the best outcomes for children’s learning and development take place where there is a strong partnership and open communications with educators, families and the local community. Yarra Glen Preschool is committed to providing an inclusive, child safe environment and we recognize the important role that educators play in protecting and advocating for children’s wellbeing.
