About the Centre/Service

Established in 1985, Macedon Ranges Montessori Preschool is a vibrant, not-for-profit, sessional kinder, run by a Committee of Management. Our kindergarten provides a holistic educational program that is structured around the Montessori pillars, and which aligns with and is governed by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). We are committed to the true Montessori approach and adhere to the principles and practices of a Montessori education. Our focus is on supporting and extending the children’s interests and strengths to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for a lifetime of learning. Our team of staff are experienced, enthusiastic, and committed to our children, Montessori programmes and the ongoing success of our kindergarten. Macedon Ranges Montessori Preschool has an excellent reputation for its early years programmes. We are a leading provider of Montessori education in the Macedon Ranges. Key Selection Criteria: 1: Demonstrated experience in an educational setting and commitment to ongoing continuous improvement consistent with the strategic direction and values of Macedon Ranges Montessori Incorporated (employer). 2: Understanding of and ability to implement sound human resources policies and practices relating to OH&S and staff development, including the day-to-day management of staff, in line with Centre policies. 3: Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework and Funding guidelines and how they influence the operations of the kindergarten 4: Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills including the capacity to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all staff, parents, and the broader community to focus on children’s learning, wellbeing, and engagement. 5: Ability to take on the role of Nominated Supervisor
