About the Centre/Service
Glenroy West Kindergarten is proud to be a parent-led community kindergarten which embraces the rich diversity of our families. We provide children with exciting learning experiences delivered through quality teaching and programs.
Our not-for-profit, sessional kindergarten offers engaging 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs with a maximum number of 28 children per class. We focus on play based learning with an emphasis on structured daily experiences, routine and a sense of togetherness. We recognise the importance of communication, language, social and emotional development.
Glenroy West Kindergarten operates as a single room centre, with our 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs operating on alternate days. We currently offer short-day sessional services 9am to 2pm. We plan to grow our service with the potential to accommodate a second building to offer multiple classes and long day services.

Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our 4-year-old program. Our new 4-year-old educator will be part of a small and friendly team bringing fresh ideas and energy to our kindergarten.
We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is committed to making a difference by giving children the support they need to become confident, involved learners. With our kindergarten set to grow, we are looking for an individual who is keen to develop with the business. As we grow, additional teaching hours will be available with the kindergarten.
The position will commence 28th January 2025 - Term 1.

Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services Qualification
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR qualifications
