Position Details
We are a small, community-based, not-for-profit organization providing high-quality sessional kindergarten programs for 3yo and 4yo children. Established more than 50 years ago, our preschool community is often described as nurturing, welcoming and caring. Relationships, respect and learning through play in an unhurried environment underpin what we value in early childhood education. These values guide what we do and why we do it, shaping our everyday interactions, decisions and experiences with children. Manchester Preschool is committed to providing a child-safe environment where all children are safe and their voices are heard. We maintain zero tolerance to child abuse, through utilising strategies of risk prevention, safe recruitment, training and education, cultural safety and legal obligations. In 2027 we will continue to offer traditional 5-hour sessions, before scaling up session hours from 2028. We operate during the school terms only.
