About the Centre/Service Wattletree Early Childhood Centre is a not-for-profit service located in Malvern. With support from our parent Committee of Management and our professional team of educators, we are committed to providing a nurturing, educational, and child-safe environment. Our service aims to provide an environment that is an extension of the individual child's home, where families and educators work collaboratively to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved.
Work Days of the Role Monday-Friday
Hours of Work of the Role 38 Hours (Fortnightly RDO)
Description We are looking for an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to work in our nursery class.  This position is full-time permanent, attracting a fortnightly RDO and a 1K sign-on bonus. Our not-for-profit centre is unique with inviting play spaces and beautiful large outdoor areas which support children's learning and development. Wattletree offers a collaborative team environment with a supportive management team.  We value our educators and offer opportunities that foster ongoing learning, reflective practice, and pedagogical mentoring. Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience within the early childhood sector.  Including sound knowledge of leading a dynamic team, an in-depth understanding of the EYLF, and building caring relationships with our children, families, and the local community. Qualifications We require applicants to have the following; - Minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services - A current Working with Children Check or VIT - Experience, enthusiasm, and passion - First Aid training - Knowledge of the Victorian, National Frameworks and NQS - Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards - Sound verbal/written English skills
