Position Details
It’s rare that a service gets the opportunity to review and assess its staffing requirements, but that’s what is happening in our small not for profit Centre. Our unique little Centre tucked away in a side street in Hawthorn East specialises in the wonderful 3-5 year age group. We provide age specific sessional Kindergarten, alongside a separate long day program which we call Waratah. Work place culture and conditions are of the highest standard at Auburn – you really will enjoy coming to work at this community managed Centre. Our current Diploma rate of pay varies (depending on experience) from $41.96 to $45.435. This rate is inclusive of the WRG. Please note that we pay under the Professional Community Standard 2025 – so this also means more sick leave and other entitlements than the CSA as well. This position is linked to a maternity leave vacancy, so it does have an end date in April 2027, however it is likely that this could be extended in some way as well.
