Work Days of the Role Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri

Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Diploma qualified educator to join an established team as a lunch cover across two groups.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and support the staff team with the following;
  • The ability to support the implementation of a high-quality early childhood program appropriate to the developmental needs and interests of the children attending the program
  • Ensuring the program reflects the service’s philosophy and is consistent with the EYM's policies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the VEYLDF / EYLF and the NQS
  • Participate in undertaking observations of individual children and share this information with parents as appropriate
  • The ability to effectively communicate with children, families, staff and professionals
  • Demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
  • Applicants must hold an approved Diploma Qualification
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Hold and maintain First Aid qualification and have current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
  • Complete annual Child Protection Training
  • Be committed to continuous learning and professional development
