About the Centre/Service A fantastic opportunity is available for a Qualified Educator to make their mark on our amazing centre. Keysborough Freedom Club is seeking a professional and qualified Educator to join our Childcare and Kinder Service. The Role and Centre: Keysborough Freedom Club is a committee run, not for profit Child Care Centre founded in 1975. We cater for approx 80 children from 6 months to 6 years. Keysborough Freedom Club have a supportive Management team who are proactive with educator upskilling and professional development. You will have access to a fully registered VIT, together with access to a mentor, we have engaged through our School Readiness Funding. Free parking on site and hours of operation are 7.30am to 5.30pm 50 weeks a year.

Description What you need to have:
  • Thorough understanding of the NQF and EYLF & the Child Safety Standards
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Awareness of all children's services regulations
  • Experience with A & R an advantage
  • Ability to build rapport with parents, their children, staff and the wider community

Qualifications
  • Completed a Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
  • A Current Working with Children Check
  • A Current Police Check
  • Current First Aid, Asthma Management, and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Mandatory Reporting Certificate
  • Safe Sleeping Certificate
  • Food Handling Certificate

Additional Requirements Need to be available to work a 7.30am shift. This is a non negotiable. References being provided on the Resume or written references is an advantage.
