About the Centre/Service
Research Preschool is a not for profit, community run preschool located in a leafy, outer north-eastern suburb of Melbourne. We have been providing services to our local community since 1965. We offer three and four year old programs and believe that children learn best through play in a safe, secure and supported environment. Through play, each child is able to discover, explore, create, improvise, problem solve and imagine. Our environment is designed to be a place for development, where opportunities are provided for children to socialise, develop respect, empathy and to build upon and promote self-esteem.
We have a wonderful spacious playground; an experienced and dedicated team and we are supported by a great committee of management. Research Preschool is a committed Child Safety Employer.

Description
We are seeking applicants for a Diploma Qualified Educator for our four-year-old group program. The successful candidate will work closely alongside 2 other friendly and supportive educators. The position commences in Term 1 2025.
The successful candidate will have a current understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework, Early Childhood Education and Care Legislation and the Assessment and Rating Process. Have a sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood development and education. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with children, the committee of management (employer), the director, parents, other staff and professionals. Ability to work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner with children, parents, staff, director and committee of management.
