About the Centre/ServiceLilydale North Pre-School is an independent, not for profit pre-school providing sessional kindergarten. We provide an engaging and stimulating play based program to 1 three-year old and 2 four year old groups. We are a committee managed preschool where the educators and committee work closely together to provide the best outcome to children and families. We pride ourselves on providing a warm and caring environment as well has a stimulating indoor and outdoor program including bush kinder, that allows every child the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. Description
Lilydale north Preschool are looking for a talented and dedicated diploma educator to complement our highly qualified and passionate team. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a team environment, has a passion for early childhood education, is nurturing and has an understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Year Learning and Developing Framework.
The successful applicant (Diploma Qualified Educator) will work within our 3 and 4 year old groups. You will assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs and work closely with families and co educators.
We provide one 3-year-old groups running in sessions on Wednesday & Thursday and two 4-year-old groups, group 1 over two days and group 2 over three days. Additional hours as required to attend; professional development, open days or pre-school events.
Conditions as per current Victorian Early Childhood teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA)
Qualifications
The successful applicant must possess the following:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
Experience in the Early Childhood Sector
Current working with children's check
Enthusiasm for play-based early education
Current First aid training - CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis
An understanding of the value of a high-quality Early Years program
