About the Centre/Service
The Emma McLean Kindergarten and Daycare is a community-run centre situated in Spotswood offering long daycare and sessional kindergarten for children aged 3-6 years of age.
The service is managed by a voluntary Committee made up of parents and members of the Spotswood community. We have a strong connection with our community, we welcome new families to our service, we are committed to the safety of all children and staff and take a zero tolerance to child abuse.

Description
THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
71 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm
Friday – Rotating Shifts - 7.45am-4.15pm and 9.30am-6.00pm
Includes - 1 Accrued Day Off each month
46.5 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
Tuesday – Rotating Shifts –7.45am-4.00pm and 9.45am-6.00pm
Thursday and Friday 9.45am-6pm
48 HOURS PER FORTNIGHT
Monday – Thursday - 2.00pm-6.00pm
Friday – Rotating Shifts – 7.45am-4.15pm and 9.30am-6.00pm
All positions to commence in January 2025
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience is essential
- Minimum two year qualification (Diploma or Certificate iii in Children's Services)
- Current Level 2 First Aid including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in early childhood services
- Working knowledge of the Regulations, standards, frameworks and codes
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate
- Have a current Working With Children’s Check
- Experience with Storypark an advantage
