About the Centre/Service
Would you like to join a fun and professional team at a small Centre in Melbourne's inner north?
We are a 60 place community run Early Childhood Education Centre located in Thornbury.
We have been rated Exceeding in all 7 areas in our last 3 Assessment and Ratings, and our staff are employed under the Professional Community Standard (2021) EBA, which pays well above the award rate per hour.
All rooms are staffed over ratio with consistent non-contact time for all educators.
We are convenient to public transport, and have free street parking very close by.
Our operating hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Description
We are looking for an experienced educator/s to join our casual educator team to cover leave throughout the centre. Working with children across all are groups and rooms we are looking for someone who is adaptable, has the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team. Availability on school holidays would be an advantage.
We will be looking to grow our team in 2025, and this could be the first step to a permanent role in a well established, highly regarded Centre with plenty of professional development opportunities. We are a small team and we service a friendly and engaged community, which makes Raleigh St a great place to work. We encourage educators (male/female/nonbinary) from diverse backgrounds to apply.
Qualifications
Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, appropriate reference and background checking will be undertaken, including a Working with Children Check and police check. All employees are required to comply with Raleigh St's Code of Conduct and Child Safe Environment & Wellbeing policy.
