Position Details
Bentleigh West Kindergarten Inc. (BWK) is a non-for profit community Kindergarten with an open, friendly and caring environment that allows 3 and 4 Year Old children to learn, grow, develop and explore in their own way. Small class sizes support our creative, imaginative, active and stimulating activities both indoors and outdoors. BWK offers one 3YO program (two sessions per week – Monday and Tuesday) and three 4YO programs (two sessions per week each rotating across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). BWK prides itself as being a volunteer-run Kindergarten with an exceeding NQS rating. We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, including those with a disability, Aboriginal Children and culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds. Protecting children from harm and abuse is our absolute priority and embedding the Victorian 11 Childsafe standards in the everyday thinking and practice of all staff members is paramount.
