Position Details
Located in Bayside Hampton, Helen Paul Kindergarten (HPK) is a sessional kindergarten with an active community presence since 1952. As a one room centre, HPK offers a strong play-based curriculum focusing on curiosity, nature and creativity for a 4-year old group and a 3-year old group. The HPK program allows children to learn through play and engage in experiences that are relevant and challenging for them, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and the natural environment. HPK has achieved a rating of exceeding in all 7 quality areas. The educational programs are delivered in a warm and nurturing way that addresses the individual needs of each child and their unfolding identities. Our primary focus is the wellbeing of every child. We provide our children the attention they need to grow and develop into happy, healthy people and be confident for school. HPK is a child safe organisation that is committed to the wellbeing and safety of all children. We are advocates for child safety and provide an environment where children feel safe, nurtured and supported. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled, dedicated and stable team who work collaboratively to create a happy, safe and secure learning environment. There is a strong emphasis on professional development to enrich not only individual learning but the whole HPK team.
