About the Centre/Service
Our pre-school is located near central Greensborough in a serene setting of a wildlife corridor. We are a parent-run, community-based service that provides sessional kindergarten programs for both 3 year old and 4 year old groups. We were rated as Exceeding in the National Quality Standards in July of 2023. Apollo Parkways Preschool provides a wonderful place for children to learn through play. Our caring and committed staff are well qualified and work in partnership with families to provide children with a positive and enjoyable Kindergarten experience.

Description
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, passionate qualified/working towards Diploma or Certificate III Early childhood Educator to join the current team at Apollo Parkways Preschool to provide lunch cover for our 4 Year Old Kindergarten group. There is also the opportunity for additional casual hours relieving our educators where needed. The successful applicant will assist in the development and delivery of a high-quality educational program that nurtures the growth and development of children through play. Reporting directly to the Nominated Supervisor, Educational Leader and the Committee of Management, we are seeking a person with strong ethics and a proven track record of a collaborative working approach within a team environment. All employees are required to have a current Working with Children Check (WWC), police check and adhere to the Apollo Parkways Preschool Code of Conduct. The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with children of all abilities within Early Childhood Education environments. Demonstrate ability in providing inclusive learning environments for all children from a range of diverse backgrounds. A genuine passion for working with children aged 3 to 6 years. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with children, parents, committee of management and teaching staff. Participate in and contribute to a collaborative team of educators.
