Early Childhood Educator (12 months fixed term)

Ness Reserve Pre-School is a not-for-profit, community-run kindergarten situated in Diamond Creek. We offer funded three and four-year-old kindergarten programs in a welcoming, inclusive and well-resourced learning environment. At Ness, we view children as capable, curious and active participants in their learning. Our play-based programs are guided by children's interests, ideas and discoveries, with a strong focus on developing positive relationships, independence, creativity and a sense of belonging. We place great value on outdoor learning, with our natural outdoor environment, bush kinder program and nature play experiences providing opportunities for children to explore, investigate, take appropriate risks and develop meaningful connections with Country and the local community. We are committed to reconciliation and, through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), continue to strengthen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives and embed these respectfully into our everyday practices. Our dedicated team of teachers and educators work collaboratively to create engaging and responsive learning environments, building strong partnerships with children, families and the wider community.
