Capel Sounds is an 94 place service with 5 rooms including Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten. Capel Sounds Educational Child Care Centre and Kindergarten is a family owned and operated service that is dedicated to empowering children, families and staff to become the best they can be.

Description
Do you hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching qualification and are seeking a new experience in Early Education? Would like you like to run your own Beach Kinder program? Are you passionate about children and their learning in natural environments and caring for Country? Well, this could be for you.
The successful teacher will work in our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten Room, alongside a team of experienced and qualified teachers educators. You will be required to lead and guide the team to deliver and extend a high-quality program. You will be given all the support and resources possible to operate a successful Kindergarten Program.
Our service has a team of lifelong learners passionate about meeting the needs of children and families. Staff ratios are comfortably met with additional educators to give our children the best possible outcomes. The service offers an ‘Out and About program’, and ‘Beach Kindergarten program’ and is in close proximately to the Capel Sound Foreshore.
Capel Sounds ECCC and Kindergarten implements the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) offering a nurturing learning environment.
Capel Sounds ECCC and Kindergarten operates an Out and About Program with regular excursions to the local foreshore, beach, wetlands, parks, school and many more environments within the local area. All age groups participate in regular walks within our area to immerse ourselves in the local community and experience nature in an open and unrestricted approach. We have a strong connection to country and respectfully weave Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our program and draw inspiration from First Peoples’ knowledge and connections to contribute to shaping positive educational opportunities and outcomes.
Capel Sounds ECCC and Kindergarten is a child safe organisation with a zero tolerance of child abuse. Our role is to advocate and support young children, upholding their right to be safe and free of harm.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching Qualification as approved by ACECQA
- VIT registration
- Sound knowledge of the VEYLDF and National Education and Care Service Regulations and Laws
- Current HLTAID012 First Aid certificate (or equivalent) including annually updated CPR certificate
- Preferred - experience in early childhood education but not essential.
