Description We are seeking an Early Childhood teacher to fill a maternity leave position in our 3-year-old group, starting in January 2025.  This position is for Terms 1 and 2 only.    This role involves planning and implementing an engaging developmentally appropriate educational program. The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood development and education.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth
  • Observe, document and assess children’s development, learning and progress
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate and engaging educational activities in collaboration with the 4-year-old teacher.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with children, the committee of management (employer), families, other staff and professionals.
  • The ability to plan, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Attend staff meetings as required to ensure effective team collaboration and communication
Qualifications Experience in sessional kinder preferred but not essential
