Description

EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER - TARALEIGH STEINER KINDERGARTEN AND PLAYGROUP

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher for a casual (fixed term maternity leave) position commencing at the start of Term 2 2025 until the end of Term 4 2025 (with additional orientation days provided for in Term 1 2025)

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our kindergarten service using the integrated approach and curriculum of Steiner education.

The role from term 2 onwards comprises of 18 hours per week across 2 days (Monday and Wednesday) during school terms.

Remuneration in line with the VECTEA2020.

The position

The role requirements are:

Victorian teacher registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching) A strong understanding of the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 and Regulations 2011 A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework Demonstrated ability to respond to children’s needs and classroom dynamics A high level of written and verbal communication skills Current First Aid certificate Mandatory child protection training certificate

 

Please note: Previous experience as a Steiner Teacher is preferred.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) less than 6 months old.
