About the Centre/Service Brentwood is a community preschool managed by a Parent Committee providing a 4 year old and 3 year old program. We are committed to excellence in Early Education and with ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children reflects our strong commitment to the child safe standards. It is our hope that all children attending develop a love of learning within a program that values their autonomy and that all families feel valued and develop a sense of belonging to our kindergarten community. Our preschool continually strives to build upon the excellent facilities, ensuring children have an interesting and stimulating environment, range of equipment and activities from which to learn and explore their own uniqueness. As a bilingual kindergarten we are proud to offer Spanish, as well as an offsite bush kinder program.

Description Our kindergarten consists of a small, dedicated team of educators, who support one another and we are looking to employ an educator who is just as passionate, motivated and dedicated to join our team. You will have
  • The capability to provide high quality care and education to all children both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Skills with contributing to a professional and positive work culture through strong communication skills, reliability and professionalism
  • The ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • A sound knowledge of the VEYLF and the NQF, Educational and Care Services Laws and Regulations
This position is permanent part time commencing term 1, 2025. Qualifications Cert 3 or Diploma in Children Services (or Equivalent), Working with Children Check (current), Police check, Current First Aid, Asthma, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificates
