Position Details
Beechworth Kindergarten a stand alone sessional kindergarten, located in the beautiful parks and gardens of the Mayday Hills Complex on Boundary Road, Beechworth. Kindergarten sessions are available during school terms for both 3 year old and 4 year old programs. Our sessional programs: - 4 Year Old Program - 15 hours of fully funded kindergarten, over 2.5 days - 3 Year Old Program - 15 hours of fully funded kindergarten, over 2.5 days - Our teaching team: our highly educated and experienced teaching team includes early years teachers and support staff. - Our class sizes: our smaller class sizes have a fantastic child/educator ratio. Children are encouraged to build resilience, flexibility and adaptability. - Our dedicated teaching and learning program: is based upon the Victorian Early Years Learning and Developmental Framework and ACECQA Guidelines. - Our school readiness preparation: our literacy rich, school transition program and relationships with local primary schools, focuses on school readiness to enable children to be active contributors to their learning. - Our Bush Kinder program: includes infinite development and learning experiences beyond that of a regular kinder program. Children will head off to school with increased spatial awareness, gross motor skills, confidence, resilience and wondering about the wider world. - Our learning spaces: our indoor and outdoor learning spaces are vibrant, spacious and well resourced. - Our community: our open and inclusive relationship with families welcomes engagement, social connection and a sense of community for all.
