About the Centre/Service
Lipscombe Park Kindergarten is a not-for-profit incorporated association operating a community-based Three & Four Year Old sessional kindergarten program. Lipscombe Park Kindergarten is operated by highly qualified, dedicated & experienced staff and is managed by a Committee of Management. The Committee of Management is a group of elected parents and is responsible for the management of the Kindergarten. For 2025 we will be running rotational 4YO sessions over 3 days and 2 separate 3 year old groups. Each group has 30 children.

Description
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Diploma qualified Lunch Cover Educator to join our 4 year old and 3 year old team on a part-time basis to provide lunch relief coverage commencing February 2025. The position requires 1.5 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays during school terms (hours TBC) In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our preschool team and community and ensuring the wellbeing and development of the children at our preschool.
This position would be ideal for someone looking for shorter hours, perhaps to accommodate picking up children from school, studying or for those seeking part-time work.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWC) assessment, which demonstrates suitability for employment in a children’s service.
- Police Check
- A current approved first aid qualification, approved anaphylaxis management training and approved emergency asthma management training, in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and service policies.
- Current Child Protection, Child Safety, Reportable Conduct Scheme and Mandatory Reporting training.
