Work Days of the Role 2. Days can be discussed upon employment
Hours of Work of the Role 13.5 Hours. Additional hours can be potentially added through relief work or School Readiness Funding for the right applicant.
Description The successful applicant will be required to assist with the planning, preparing and delivery of a developmentally appropriate and engaging program for kindergarten children attending our Four-Year-Old Preschool group. The successful applicant must be familiar with the NQF and VEYLDF. They are required to work under the direction of the 4-Year-Old Teacher and to be an active member of our team, working collaboratively to create and maintain a stimulating and child safe learning environment. The ability to engage with children in a warm, welcoming and inclusive manner is a necessity.   This role is a part time position working 13.5 hours per week beginning Term 1. There are potential additional hours through relief work or School Readiness Funding for the right candidate. It will require you to work 2 days a week and days can be discussed upon employment. Qualifications The successful applicant must possess and address the following criteria within their application to be considered for the position: • Completed a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children's Services • Current Working with Children Check • ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification, Anaphylaxis Management Training and Asthma Management Training • Right to Work in Australia • At least two referees, including the most recent employer of direct line manager, all referees must have observed you working with children first-hand.
