About the Centre/Service
Established in 1978, Wonnai Preschool is a high quality, boutique, community-minded kindergarten in Langwarrin, we are proud to have provided over 40 years of quality care and education to the residents of Frankston City Council. Run by a Committee of Management comprised of parent volunteers, we facilitate government funded three- and four-year-old groups and offer each exclusive access to the centre, allowing the children to take full advantage of our excellent facilities and expansive outdoor play area.
Wonnai Preschool values play-based learning and provides a caring environment where our collaborative and passionate educators are able to focus on the unique learning needs of each child, our programs are developed around the principles set out in the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework, with each of our teaching team bringing their unique talents and interests to the various sessions, because of this our services are rated by ACECQA as ‘Exceeding the National Quality Standards’. Under the guidance of our professional and friendly teachers, the children are engaged in a dynamic array of indoor and outdoor activities, including stories, drama, dance and movement, puzzles, craft and painting, sports, gardening and so much more.
