Black Rock Pre-School Centre Inc. is a community-managed kindergarten committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children are supported to develop their skills, confidence, independence and sense of belonging. We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who is: • Passionate about balancing play-based learning, intentional teaching and meaningful opportunities for children to lead their own learning. • Passionate about working with three-year-old children. • An experienced and confident early childhood educator. • Confident in curriculum planning, assessment and documentation. • Experienced in using observations to inform intentional teaching and planning. • Able to recognise when to step in with intentional teaching and when to allow children the time and space to explore, investigate and lead their own learning. • A strong communicator and relationship builder. • Confident providing professional support and guidance to colleagues. • Collaborative, approachable and respectful. • Reflective and committed to continuous improvement. • Highly organised and able to coordinate across a program operating across multiple groups. • Able to work independently while contributing strongly to a team. • Committed to inclusive practice and cultural safety. • Enthusiastic about contributing to the development of a high-quality Three-Year-Old program.
