About you We are looking for a teacher who is: • Passionate about Four-Year-Old Kindergarten / Pre-Prep and supporting children as capable and confident learners • Experienced in planning and delivering a high-quality kindergarten program • Passionate about balancing play-based learning, with intentional teaching and providing meaningful opportunities for children to lead their own learning • Flexible and adaptable, responding thoughtfully to the changing needs of children, families and the program • Skilled in curriculum planning, observation, assessment and documentation, with experience using observations to inform intentional teaching and planning • Able to recognise when to step in with intentional teaching and when to allow children the time and space to explore, investigate and lead their own learning • A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues • Collaborative and committed to team teaching, shared planning and consistent approaches across the Four-Year-Old program • Confident in sharing professional knowledge and providing support to colleagues • Reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement • Able to work independently while contributing strongly to a collaborative team • Committed to inclusive practice, cultural safety and child safety • Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-quality, consistent and connected Four-Year-Old Kindergarten / Pre-Prep program
