Accounts Admin & Customer Service – Early Learning

Role responsibilities

• Administrate the Sparkways kindergarten fee system ensuring parents/families are billed in a timely manner and supported to complete payment
• Proactively conduct debt collection work and provide support and guidance to parent/families in setting up payment plans
• Provide enrolment support and respond to queries (by phone, email, web form,) for three and four-year-old kindergarten in a consistent, calm, courteous manner
• Support the wider Early Years team with administration processes for funding applications

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate

• Experience in  billing and debt collection for small account customers (preferred)
• Experience in or exposure to kindergartens or other learning environments, particularly enrolments (preferred)
• Fluent with basic accounting principles and systems (preferred)
• Fluent with Microsoft Office applications - spreadsheets, mail merges, templates
• Attention to detail and strict following of financial policies, procedures and ethics
• Outstanding customer service experience and skills, with a friendly, positive nature demonstrated in community services, hospitality, retail or similar
• Demonstrated success in working in a team environment and contributing to team processes and cooperative working relationships
• Problem solving skills with a focus on solutions and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
