About the Centre/Service
YMCA Whittlesea are seeking enthusiastic educators to join our casual team.
Successful applicants will gain work across all our children's services teams from LDC to Kindergarten. These include Orchard Road Early Learning and Community Centre in Doreen, Mill Park Heights Child Care Centre, Diggers Rest Early Learning Centre and Galada Kindergarten in Epping. You will be accepted into a friendly, engaging team environment.

As an Assistant Educator, you will:
• Have an extensive knowledge on child development and wellbeing as well as an understanding of the National Quality Standards and Framework
• Have an understanding and respect for our diverse communities
• Be able to work collaboratively
• Have respectful relationships with families, children and the wider community
• Foster positive interactions which are embedded with a fun, safe environment
• Have the ability to understand the needs of each child by being attuned to individual needs
Qualifications
The successful applicants will hold the following current qualifications:
• Current Employee Working With Children Check
• Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
• Current Level 2 First Aid (minimum HTLAID003)
• Current CPR (minimum HLTAID001)
• Anaphylaxis Qualification
• Asthma Qualification
• Minimum Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent)
