About the Centre/Service
Glen Eira Kindergarten Association (GEKA) is a not-for-profit, Early Years Manager of ten local kindergartens in the municipality of Glen Eira. Our role is to ensure that the delivery of programs for children are inclusive, reflective of contemporary research and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Description
We are looking for casual Early Childhood Educators to work in both three year old and four year old programs, across all ten services, in Glen Eira. Programs operate as follows:
3YO: 8.30am-1.30pm
4YO: 8.30am-4.00pm
GEKA Kindergartens implement a play based emergent curriculum that is built on current research from the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF 2009). The curriculum provides rich learning experiences developed through a strength/interest based approach. We are committed to supporting children in ways that help connect them to the natural world in order to build and promote awareness of environmental and sustainable practices.
Our flexible environments, incorporating indoor and outdoor programs simultaneously, are purposefully arranged to capture children’s interests, ideas and cater to individual needs. Our commitment to natural resources is evident in creating open ended play spaces for children to imagine, create and discover. Indoor/outdoor play is available to children throughout the day.

Certificate III in Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA)
