About the Centre/Service
Located in Vermont, Eastmont Pre-School has been providing quality kindergarten programs for children since 1968 and is committed to maintaining a child safe environment. Eastmont Pre-School offers a stimulating, play-based curriculum that enables children to explore and understand the world around them. This is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. We aim to create a caring and inclusive environment where children of all abilities feel supported and are able to explore, discover, imagine and create. We promote respect for self and others, and responsibility for the environment.

Description
We are seeking an energetic educator to join of dedicated team as we continue to work with children through the encouragement and celebration of their unique strengths and interests. The successful candidate must have the following:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative as well display a commitment to teamwork
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Framework
- A genuine concern for children demonstrating a proactive response to the needs of each individual child.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
