About the Centre/Service Renown Kindergarten in South Yarra has been providing kindergarten children with their first educational experience since 1920. We have a rich history and tradition, and are committed to offering an early childhood service of the highest quality. Renown offers both 3 and 4 year old programs in English and in French. Renown Kindergarten is committed to safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. This will be the primary focus of our care and decision-making. Renown Kindergarten has zero tolerance for child abuse. Renown Kindergarten is committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and feel safe, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives. Particular attention will be paid to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability. Description Renown is now seeking dynamic, flexible and committed Educators to contribute new ideas and energy to casual roles within our kindergarten. At Renown Kindergarten, we value qualified and experienced educators who are professional, collaborative, caring and respectful in their work with our children, families and the parent management committee. Our educators must be team orientated, be knowledgeable about the VEYLDF and EYLF and how these impact practice, and demonstrate high levels of interest in reflective practices and/or professional development opportunities that enhance their role in supporting teachers, families and children. Renown invites written applications from Early Childhood Educators, demonstrating your ability to: - support teachers by contributing to a range of planning and documentation practices within the program - supervise spontaneous and/or planned experiences when working with small groups of children or families in our indoor and outdoor learning environments - assist in the development of reflective practice when creating routines and engaging learning spaces in collaboration with the teacher for the children and families, and - actively contribute to establishing a collaborative culture both in the classroom and workplace where teamwork and respect for each other is paramount. Qualifications Qualifications- Certificate III in Children's Services, at minimum. Core and planning hours are in line with VECTEA. Requirements- WWCC
