Description
We are looking for experienced educators to work in all age groups throughout our centre. The position is on a casual basis which will consist of working within all the classrooms covering rostered days off, and annual/sick leave.
Candidates must have at least 12 months previous experience within the early childhood sector, including sound knowledge of the relevant developmental stages and professional skills in working with families and co educators.
We have high expectations in regards to the relationships that are formed with the children and families that attend our service and believe that these form the basis of a High Quality Education and Care setting. We were rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard, with exceptional feedback in Quality Area 5, Relationships with Children.
Our parent-managed centre is unique with a wide range of natural resources, inviting play spaces and beautiful large outdoor areas. We aim to provide a service that is an extension of the individual child's home, where families and educators work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
Qualifications
We require applicants to have the following;
- A current Working With Children Check
- Experience, enthusiasm and a passion for working with children
- Minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Knowledge of the Victorian, National Frameworks and NQS
- Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards
- Sound verbal/written English skills
