About the Centre/Service Columbia Park Early Learning Centre is a community based, not-for-profit, long day education and care centre with integrated 3 year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs. Located in Wheelers Hill; south east of Melbourne, we boast spacious playgrounds and are surrounded by open parkland. We provide professional and innovative education and care to 60 children on a daily basis in a well resourced centre. We aspire to provide a stimulating and educational play based environment where the children are free to explore and experiment with a wide range of learning experiences. One of our main focuses is to form collaborative partnerships with children, families and our community.

Description We are seeking experienced educators who are motivated, enthusiastic and innovative with passion and commitment to early childhood education and quality outcomes for children, families and the Centre. Educations with strong leadership and communication skills which support collaborate engagement with others and proven abilities to work as a team member is crucial for these positions. Knowledge of the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, Early Childhood Australia's Code of Ethics and the ability obtain the best outcomes for the children and their families is required. Columbia Park Early Learning Centre values the provision of a safe environment for children; we are a Child Safe Centre with a commitment to the welfare and protection of children. All employees are required to comply with our Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Diploma, OR equivalent qualifications is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of the NQS, EYLF, VEYLDF, OH&S and National Law and Regulations.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in early childhood education programs, communication, problem solving abilities, leadership and team work.
- Certificates and Checks: Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate and CPR, Asthma Management Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management Certificate are essential.
- Protecting Children Mandatory Reporting is required.
