About the Centre/Service Ripponlea Kinder is a parent-managed community kindergarten offering three and four-year-old kindergarten for up to 64 children in St Kilda East.We value family and community support at the kindergarten and are led by a parent run Committee of Management. Our close-knit staff team is experienced, committed and supportive.At Ripponlea Kinder we create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment. Description Come and join our amazing community at Ripponlea Kinder! We are seeking 2-3  skilled, caring and experienced  qualified early childhood educators who are passionate about delivering high quality early childhood education at our Exceeding rated service. If you are looking for flexible, interesting work in our 3 and 4 year old sessional kinder programs, we would love you to join our team. We are seeking casual relief educators who can cover planned staff leave in advance as well as short notice cover across 5 days. POSITION OBJECTIVES  Work cooperatively as a member of a team, and assist with the provision of a high quality educational program for the children. Operate in a professional manner at all times, meeting the requirements of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) Victorian kindergarten policy, procedures and funding criteria, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, and the Quality Improvement Plan, policies and procedures of the service. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Specialist skills and knowledge Experience in working with young children. Ability to plan and manage time effectively with limited direction. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT :
  • Minimum Certificate III in Education and Care or equivalent 
  • Diploma in Education and Care or equivalent
