Description bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking a Center Director with exceptional leadership, relationship and collaboration skills. Reporting to the Area Manager West, your primary goal is to lead the delivery of high quality services that meet the needs of children, families and the community. The role has ownership of the centre’s financial success and accountability for driving organisational outcomes. Working in collaboration with key partners, the Centre Coordinator is accountable to deliver on compliance through their role as nominated supervisor to families whilst managing the centre. bestchance is a not-for-profit organisation intent on building stronger communities, healthier families and happier childhoods. As Center Coordinator you are able to collaborate with bestchance Children’s Therapy services, including allied health practitioners, and Family Support services who provide emergency relief and referral pathways, to support the children and their families. Centre staff can also access the internal RTO to upskill to a Diploma qualification. About you:
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have substantial experience in leading a service providing high-quality education and support.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and an understanding of the Reggio Emilia Project Approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading staff to deliver high quality early childhood education and care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LDC financial drivers and financial management skills within this setting
  • Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in supporting, motivating and developing individuals, your adaptability and your ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Previous leadership experience within and Early Childhood service
