About the Centre/Service
Nola Barber Kinder is a community run kinder that has been operating since 1951. Nola Barber is run by a volunteer Committee of Management with the support of a part time Administration Officer and highly skilled and dedicated staff. The kinder currently offers two groups of three-year old and two groups of four-year-old sessional kinder programs in our recently renovated and extended building. At Nola Barber Kindergarten, we encourage all children to grow, learn and develop in a safe and happy environment. All children have the opportunity to explore, experiment, create and have fun while being supported, respected and valued.

Description
Nola Barber Kindergarten is seeking a motivated and passionate Cert 3 or Diploma qualified assistant to support the ECT. This position will be ongoing.
Working for a community not for profit, with big natural outdoor spaces, and a strong sense of sustainability and environment. This role is a great opportunity for you to be a key part in enhancing and educating the lives of the children in this area.
The candidate will need to communicate effectively with children, committee, parents, staff and other professionals. They will need to work in a cooperative, flexible and professional manner; and have a strong and passionate work ethic within the team.
The successful applicant must have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Policies and procedures of Nola Barber Kindergarten.
In 2020, the Comets group session time is: Wednesday 9:30 (5hrs) and Non-contact hours 2.5hrs.
