About the Centre/Service KinderPlay Early Learning Centre creates engaging and inviting environments that cater to 26 children per day. The home-like atmosphere supports the children's growth and development and fosters meaningful relationships from within the local community.

Description Start your career in Early Childhood with us. Immediate start for the successful candidate. We are searching for enthusiastic candidates who would like the challenge of a childcare traineeship. Your responsibilities: Working part-time hours Monday-Friday, you will be working within a dedicated and caring team. Your duties will include:
  • Supervision of children during outdoor and indoor activities
  • Assisting with meal times and nap time
  • Interacting, playing and reading to children
  • Maintaining a safe environment at all times
  • Covering staff lunch breaks
  • Forming strong relationships with children, parents and families
Qualifications What we are looking for candidates that are:
  • A genuine love for children and their growth and development
  • A strong desire to pursue childcare as a long-term career
  • Previous experience working/babysitting children is an advantage
  • Lots of energy and a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Minimum 18 years old
The successful applicant will need to pass a Working with Children Check and police check. Benefits for you: This is a great opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care whilst gaining hands on experience and a weekly wage all at the same time. Please note that if you have completed qualifications higher than a certificate 3 including university studies in Australia or overseas you will not be eligible to undertake a traineeship. To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
