About the Centre/Service TRY Australia is an independent, non-denominational not-for-profit social enterprise focused on giving young people, individuals and families opportunities to reach their potential. Our social businesses and programs cover three main areas: promoting universal access to early learning and childcare, providing accredited youth mentoring and training, and creating opportunities for employment pathways. Bruthen Street Kindergarten located in Moorabbin, Through warm and trusting relationships between the children and the educators, we support the children’s learning and development by challenging, stimulating and supporting their play, so they feel safe and confident to try new things and be themselves. We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for all the children’s learning and development; we do this by challenging, stimulating and supporting the children’s play.

The lunch cover timetable as follows- Monday's 11.15-12.30 pm Wednesday's 11.15-12.30 pm Friday's 11.15-12.30 pm Total hours- 3 hours and 45 minutes The successful person will be:
  • Passionate about the early years care, development and education of children.
  • Ability to show an understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning and Development Framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Diploma Education and Care  (Early Childhood)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current up to date first aid training
  • Asthma training
  • Anaphylaxis Training

Additional Requirements TRY Australia works with children, youth and vulnerable people and requires all staff to undertake a Criminal Record Check and a Working with Children Check, prior to commencement, and maintain these throughout their employment.
