 We are seeking Diploma level Educators or Graduate Teachers to work either full-time (38 hours per week) or part time (3 to 4 days per week) as permanent staff in our Flexible Team in the northern suburbs.

What will I do?

You will relieve Educators and Teachers who are not able to work, ensuring that we do not have to close a session and disappoint our children and families.  You need to be able to start by 8.15 in the morning (some mornings will be later)  and you will work about 7 1/2 to 8 hours per day, averaging out to 38 hours per week.  You will work across our 14 Northern Suburbs services which are clustered around Mill Park and surrounding suburbs.   After session times, and on days when you are not providing relief, you will work with your Area Manager on projects such as recruitment, accreditation and auditing.

We would love to hear from you if….

  • You are a diploma qualified Preschool Educator, or
    • Recent ECT graduate
    • ECT degree student, with 30% of your units completed, or
    • Cert III Educator actively working towards Diploma
  • You want to work either full time, or part time over 3 to 4 days
  • You are available to start work by 8.00 am if needed for an early session
  • You are able to travel to different kindergartens in your assigned area each morning
  • You have experience in sessional kinder, or in the kinder room of long day care
  • People describe you as dependable, confident, competent, positive and energetic
  • You love working with children, and are eager to work with different groups, educators and teachers
  • You are interested in understanding the work of an Area Manager
