About the Centre/Service We are a recognised provider of the International Baccalaureate curriculum at our Kindergarten and School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from 3 year-old Kindergarten to Year 6 at Kororoit Creek Primary School. We offer a play-based program that supports learning and inquiry through play in both the indoor and outdoor environments. Our program focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer in the kindergarten and within the wider global community. Alongside the PYP, we use the Victorian Early Years development Framework to create a comprehensive and engaging curriculum. Kororoit Creek Kindergarten forms an integral part of the Kororoit Creek Primary School hub. The educators carefully link their planning with the school’s Programme of Inquiry, and track children’s learning using Learning outcomes. Whilst the Kindergarten is run in partnership with the Melton City Council and is funded by the Department of Education and Training, it is managed by the Kinder Educational Leader and the Principal of Kororoit Creek Primary School. This ensures that a high level of expectations and consistency are met.
