About the Centre/Service Market Street Community Child Care Centre is a small child care service nestled in the heart of Dandenong. Managed by Springvale Service for Children this service since 2020 this service has been a fixture of the Dandenong community for almost 50 years. With strong links to the local community we pride ourselves in our no wrong door policy that welcomes everyone and offers a range of services to our families.

Description We currently have a rare opportuning for a Leading Diploma Qualified Educator to join our Market Street team to deliver quality education and care in our early learning program. In this role you will bring your passion for working with children to our supportive team who plan and deliver a creative program that features the unique aspects of the community such as the Dandenong Market. You will work with an experienced Kindergarten teacher and a team of deducted eductors to create a stimulating positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Victorian Early Years Framework whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality Standards (NQS). With the benefit of above educator to child ratio, you will be responsible for leading observations, programming and for the evaluation of children's development to ultimately support their learning and development outcomes. With the addition of a comprehensive induction and mentoring process you will be supported to learn about the service and develop in your role. we have extensive in-service Leadership team, including an experienced Pedagogical Leader, who supports the team to develop their pedagogical understanding and establish nurturing and inclusive relationships with children, families and the community. there are also opportunities for on-going professional development throughout the year to enhance your skills and knowledge, during our regular team meetings and training form external services and consultants.
