About the Centre/Service Kew and North Balwyn Playcentre is an occasional childcare centre operating from 9am - 2pm (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and 9am - 3pm (Tuesday and Thursday) during Victorian School Terms.

Description Kew and North Balwyn Playcentre is an Occasional Care service that that provides care and education for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.The centre is open during school terms only and is closed during all Victorian School Holiday periods. Our sessions run from 9am - 2pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 9am - 3pm on Tuesday and Thursday.We are looking for a new Diploma Qualified Educator to join our Thursday team....Immediate Start!Salary range: $36.46 - $37.56 per hour dependant on experience (Casual)You will already have completed your Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and have experience working with children in an early childhood setting. Room leadership experience preferred.You will require a Working With Children Check, Current Police Check, First Aid Qualifications and Mandatory Reporting Certificate.Our centre has a Mandatory Vaccination Policy so evidence of a minimum of 2 COVID 19 Vaccinations will be required.Kew and North Balwyn Playcentre is a child safe and equal opportunity employer. Qualifications Qualifications - Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. - Relevant industry experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work flexible shifts during school hours (Ideal hours for a working mum). - Must have work entitlement rights in Australia.
