About the Centre/Service
Kurboroo Kindergarten is a not-for-profit incorporated association operating a community based sessional 3 & 4 year old kindergarten program in Warranwood, Victoria.
Kurboroo Kindergarten is operated by highly qualified, dedicated & experienced staff and is managed by a voluntary Committee of Management.
Work Days of the Role
The current sessions times are: Monday 8.00am to 11.30am Thursday 2.00pm to 4.30pm
Hours of Work of the Role
6 hours of contact time with children plus 4.75 hours of preparation/non-teaching duties (including planning and meetings). Note - Hours to increase in coming years to meet new government requirements for the 3 year old kindergarten program.
Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bachelor qualified educator to lead our 3yo program commencing in January 2022. The successful applicant will be engaging, friendly and passionate about offering our children with the most rewarding experience and start to their early education. This contract role is an exciting opportunity where you can be part of a great team of educators who wish to contribute positively to the local community and have fun along the way.
Qualifications
You will need to demonstrate the following;
- Bachelor Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
- Qualifications suitable under Children’s Services Regulations and DET funding criteria.
