About the Centre/Service We are seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Coordinator whose key focus will be to establish collaborative working relationships on behalf of the Y Whittlesea with community service organisations. By delivering and supporting inclusion support to services, families, children, and educators with a view of bridging the gap between agencies, services families, and educators.
Work Days of the Role Part time - will be determined with preferred applicant
Hours of Work of the Role FTE: 0.65 - Minimum of 25 hrs per week
Description This is a newly created role to help strengthen the relationship pathway in navigating a challenging system of external supports including but not limited to gaining access to NDIS packages and relevant agencies to help support families in need. Experience in the KIS application process and NIDS Support Package process is desirable.   Benefits of the role include:

Qualifications   Key Selection Criteria including qualifications
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Relevant education such as;
    • Early Years qualification (Diploma or higher)
    • Education Support Cert III or IV
    • Diploma of Welfare
  • Previous experience with KIS applications preferred.
  • Preferably knowledge and understanding of The Education and Care Services Act and Regulations, The National Quality Frameworks, and The Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (YEYLF)
  • Experience accessing a range of relevant community services and resources.
