About the Centre/Service
Yarralea Children's Centre is a non profit children's centre in Alphington with a community kindergarten feel, that has been around for over 60 years. Yarralea provides 3 and 4 year old kindergarten and childcare as well as an established Bush Kinder program. It features playrooms filled with natural light and large natural outdoor play spaces with loose materials for creative and adventurous play. Yarralea's philosophy is built on trust and respect for children, families and staff and our community work closely in providing a warm, trusting and nurturing environment.

Description
Are you happy to get your hair wet and hands muddy supporting children playing outside? Would you like to join a friendly, experienced team and work in a relaxed setting featuring expansive natural outdoor play spaces? We are seeking a Diploma trained Early Childhood Educator that is passionate about authentic indoor/outdoor play programs and works with children and families in an open, respectful and trusting manner. We are seeking an adventurous educator who is mentally and physically capable of working in the Bush Kinder Program 2 full days per week (Monday and Wednesday). An additional 2 days will be in the home kinder program (Tuesday and Friday) and a half day planning (Thursday). Please feel free to check out our website

Commitment to all weather play and environmental and social sustainability and not currently studying.
