Dawson Street Childcare Co-operative is a not for profit, community based centre in inner city Brunswick who highly values professional, enthusiastic and eager educators. Work Days of the Role
Casual flexibility Monday - Friday.
Hours of Work of the Role
8.5 hours per day shift (Would need to be able to work from 7.30am - 6pm)
Description
We are looking for a passionate educator to join our team! The part time position is working 8.5 hours per day and would need to be able to work from 7.30am - 6pm.
A minimum Certificate 3 Qualification for the casual position.
We are looking to employ someone with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills who is dedicated to providing a fun, educational play-based program to our children.
We pride ourselves in teaching the children about the natural world and respecting the environment and are looking for a candidate whose educational philosophy is similar. We often take the children out on regular outings throughout our local and broader community.

Qualifications
To Be Considered for the Position:
- A minimum Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
- Sound practical working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
- A Current first aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
