About the Centre/Service We are a community-based kindergarten with St. Francis of Assisi Primary School holding management control of the service. This has provided stability for the kindergarten over the past 12 years in that we have not operated as a standalone service. We have 2 four-year-old groups and 2 three-year-old groups, in total we have 104 children and 7 staff. We acknowledge that every child is unique and encouraged to explore and engage in the world around them. We have a strong sense of community within our service, valuing diversity and encouraging individual educators to reach their full potential through support, encouragement and providing an appropriate environment with high quality resources. Stables kindergarten is committed to providing a safe environment for all our children.
Work Days of the Role Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours of Work of the Role 18.75 hours per week
Description We are currently seeking to employ a Part-Time Early Childhood Educator - Cert III or Diploma Qualified to work with one of our 4-year-old groups commencing 26th April 2022. Wednesday:       12:45pm  -  4:45pm Thursday:            8:00am  -  1:30pm Friday:                  8:00am  -  1:30pm Total Hours:   18.75 We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality program often "thinking outside the square" to ensure rich and rewarding experiences for our children, families, staff and our broader community. Qualifications Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood) Current First Aid/CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis training Working with Children's Check National Police Check An understanding of the requirements of the (Victorian) Child Safe Standards Knowledge of the Victorian and National Frameworks and Child Protection
